The Sognefjord is the longest and most beautiful fjord in the world. Join Fjord1 on a memorable journey through one of the most beautiful landscapes Norway has to offer – from the vibrant coastal city of Bergen, through narrow fjords, to the charming village of Flåm, nestled at the innermost end of the fjord arm.
Every day from April 1st to October 31st, you can join us for a beautiful boat trip amidst towering mountain peaks and deep fjords.
The Sognefjord is often called the "King of the Fjords," and for good reason! Steep mountainsides, mighty waterfalls plunging straight into the fjord, and a succession of charming villages make the Sognefjord a truly unique experience. See the Sognefjord as the locals do and enjoy a comfortable journey on Fjord1’s modern express boats.
The fjord cruise departs from the Strandkaien Terminal in Bergen city centre. First, you will experience a beautiful coastal landscape featuring narrow straits and thousands of small islands. After two hours along the coast, the boat begins its journey into the Sognefjord. During the trip, you will have views of the Jostedalsbreen glacier, small farms perched on high mountain ledges, and the incredibly narrow Aurlandsfjord—which is only 2 km wide in places!
You can spend the 5.5-hour journey from Bergen to Flåm relaxing in the comfortable seats of the lounge, or step out onto the deck to get an even closer look at the scenery. There is an onboard kiosk offering a wide range of tasty options: from our world-famous *svele* (Norwegian pancake) to breakfast, dinner dishes, refreshments, and coffee with free refills.
