Where does the express boat stop?
The express boat stops at quays close to the town centres in towns and villages along the coast of Fjord Norway. Most stops are served daily, but not all. See the timetable for further details.
The Bergen – Nordfjord – Bergen route has the following stops:

Whether you are a senior, a student, traveling with your family, or purchasing a round-trip ticket, you can expect a great travel experience at a great price.

- Family price: Maximum NOK 204 per child traveling with a paying adult. The family discount applies to up to four children per adult, with a maximum of two adults and eight children per booking.

On board catering
At the kiosk, you can buy hot and cold dishes, snacks and refreshments.
We’ll soon be offering a breakfast pack too!
In future, you can pre-order a breakfast pack at a 10 per cent discount when you book your ferry ticket.
The breakfast pack consists of a wholemeal roll with cheese and ham, yoghurt, water, coffee or tea (with refills), or hot chocolate.
Why choose the express boat?
There are many reasons why both local residents and visitors choose to travel by express boat. A survey of passengers on the routes between Bergen, Nordfjord and Sogn shows that these benefits carry the most weight:
- A relaxing journey: As many as 64 per cent say they choose the express boat because they don’t have to drive themselves.
- Stops close to the city centre: Nearly 60 per cent think it is important that the express boat stops close to the city centre.
- A nature experience in itself: 47 per cent choose the express boat because the journey offers beautiful nature experiences along the coast and the fjords.
- Time for work and study: Over a third (35 per cent) use the journey time to work or study whilst travelling.
- Short journey time: 34 per cent choose the express boat because it gets them there quickly.
- Easy to travel with children: Nearly 20 per cent highlight that the express boat is a practical option for families with children.

Frequently asked questions
Can I take my dog on the trip?
Yes, you can bring your dog on board. You book a space for your dog at the same time as you purchase your ferry ticket. Dogs will be placed in a designated area by the crew. Unfortunately, due to allergies amongst other passengers, we cannot guarantee access to the lounge. We therefore recommend that you bring your own dog crate.
Can I travel with an electric wheelchair?
Yes, you can bring an electric wheelchair on board. You can reserve a space for your wheelchair free of charge when you book your ferry ticket. The wheelchair space is located right next to the other seats. All vessels have universal access on the main deck, including the main lounge, kiosk and toilet. Please feel free to contact the crew if you have any questions or require assistance before or during your journey.
Is it easy to work on board?
We make sure you can work efficiently on board our express ferries. You can expect a comfortable journey with free Wi-Fi and easily accessible power sockets. You can take luggage weighing up to 20 kg on board free of charge.
We have a wide selection of food and drink in the on-board kiosk should you get peckish during your journey.
On the express ferries, there are various types of seats to choose from. Some seats are positioned by tables, whilst others have fold-down tables with space for a laptop.
Can I charge my mobile and laptop on board?
Yes, you can easily charge your mobile phone, laptop and similar devices on board. Sockets are available in a number of places in the saloons, both on the upper and lower decks.
